Configurations of Clouds in the Skies Above

I woke up around 8:30: started and finished a five page paper by 12:30. I went to class around 1:05: participated and came home by 4:40. I watched a movie around 7:10: finished it just now.

Well, there's all the weirdness out of my system! (Did you guys notice my w-poi alliteration?) It was a good day, though. The paper doesn't seem too shoddy, and t'was the last one I had to do until after spring break. Just exams left, now. As for what put me in a weird mood, I just finished watching Ao no Hono-o. I'm super picky about movies, even though I have no reason to be snobbish, and I really liked this.

For fic writers, I guess? I'm kind of super picky about my own writing (too ... geez), which is silly considering what I write is totally nothin' special. Still, I have trouble finishing stories when I don't feel like I'm writing characters correctly. Like I've said before, I have trouble writing Nino. Perhaps that isn't the most accurate thing to say, because I guess I can pull it off? But he is definitely the most difficult of the five for me to grasp. Characters from novels and TV and such are easier. While those stories can definitely be skilled in creating three-dimensional characters, it doesn't hold a candle towards a real person. Before this I've never written real person fiction, and I feel like I have this pressure to get Neeners right. [livejournal.com profile] ferinough told me it was easy for her to write Nino because he seemed similar in personality to her, but I definitely don't have the same kind of thing going on. So, my question is, how do you guys handle writing Nino?
