Apr. 28th, 2005 11:38 amAh, break, break, break...
It's nice to consider that my rich, preppy classmates are probably roasting in Jamaica right now with their equally rich, preppy families. I, on the other hand, have honour. I've been walking around in pajamas, stealing food from children, fending off people who try to BB-shoot me from the gaps in my windows, searching for something goddamn edible, making terrible coffee, and eventually falling to starvation. This includes me wasting half my pocket money on bad chinese takeout which, for some reason unknown to man, will always have authentic orange sauce lathered with passion on the chicken meat. I cannot eat this.
Comparing those two options, I have come to a conclusion.
MY LIFE IS BETTER THAN THEIRS. When school is back on, I won't come back a certified Ganguro girl. When school is back on, I won't have to rush to finish break homework that I didn't do while I was Ganguro-fying myself. When school is back on, I'll be miserable, but at least I'd have had a nice break without people flinging themselves at my feet.
I live in a rich, preppy, white-pretending-to-be-not suburban town in New Jersey, and I want out.
