Also, we've come upon Sartre in class. If you're interested in existentialism (why, you freak?), or would like to learn more about it, read Sartre's Humanism of Existentialism. It is at the heart of it a lecture, and very easy to understand.
I read it before I went to CTY. Understood a bit of it even then. Even if you're not interested in philosophy, it's a pretty interesting thing to read.
