So I had sushi and sashimi with my dad today, and it was super delicious. :D He's found a cheap place that's still good, too! So resourceful.

Hm! I have a lot to say about Uta no Oniisan ep.8. I really liked this drama - it was kind of short and sweet, and essentially it was everyone's (especially Kenta's, of course) growing-up story, wasn't it? A tried and true formula. I'll just go down the rather spastic points I made while watching it. THIS IS WHAT SPRING BREAK IS FOR, GUYS.

Firstly, Urara's monologue = FTW. Hahaha, I love her and her drama, and how she gets matched up to Prince Himura anyway, it made me laugh so hard. And was anyone else fond of all the sound effects they gave her? Like the crow, and back in episode 7 (I think?) when she's like scratching at the wall after hearing about the show ending and it's the funniest thing ever. Comedic timing is ftw^2.

Secondly... Akane. Well, people have said a lot about her already. I liked that Kenta finally called her out on her issues, which are the same ones she accused him of. The thing is, Kenta grew up, and I still think that Akane didn't. The show probably isn't so deep, but if we had seen her giving one apology for the way she treated him (I mean, he was okay throughout most of it, but honestly), then I think Akane's journey would've been complete as well. Instead, she's still saying stuff like, 'I'm suffering [...].' C'mon, geez. You're not the only one. I couldn't help thinking that her character was selfish all the way to the end, which is a shame.

Kenta's room is super cool! The best kind of messy.
Ohno crying is ultimate!pout. ;n;
KENTA'S ON A MISSION, AND IT'S HILARIOUS. LOL MAKING OHNO SAY "STOP FISHING!" IS THE FUNNIEST THING IN THE WHOLE DRAMA. Those brats! Also, Urara's cute like usual.

Kenta's interaction with that lady (probably ad-libbed, like it was with Sho) was totally like Ohno's real interview with her. Awkward.
I love inspirational speeches! That song too! It became a popular single in that universe too! Awesome.

Bye-bye, Uta no Oniisan. It was fun.

...I agree with what you say about Uta no Oniisan. I loved it a lot. :) And Urara was hilarious, hahaha! The actress was so perfect for her character! I have the same opinions about Akane too. =/ AND YES, THAT WAS A HILARIOUS MOMENT. I BET THE STAFF WERE LIKE TOMA AND WERE LIKE, OHNO YOU GOTTA STOP FISHING, AND HE WENT ANYWAY AND THEN THEY WERE LIKE, SCREW IT, LET'S PUT IT IN THE SCRIPT, BWAHAHA, REVENGE. ♥ I love this show.

That's a good point, I didn't think of that... well, except, these are so mutated that (conversely O.O) you feel weird eating them. NOT REMOTELY BEAR-SHAPED. It's like a bear starfish?

HAHAHA yeah so much of the show was just poking fun at everyone. Actually, about Ohno fishing, isn't it kind of... worrying? I'm sure he focuses like he does for *nothing else* when he's fishing, but he goes out during the night and it's Ohno, he'd probably forget his own ass if Nino wasn't there to grope it for him. I think everyone's sending out a plea for help. :P

It was right after I watched the VS Arashi special where Nino dropped the pipes on this girl in the first second, so I was thinking like, 'aaahahah nino such a JERK.'
