More tiny random word generator drabbles!
Guys, this is so much fun, I shouldn't be allowed to do this. I write up a list of pairings, vroom! the random word generator and it seriously creates hilarity.
Word: Tailgate
Characters: Sho+Nino, Sho's fear
Rating: Safe enough to save you money. (Hilarious Baystorm ref.)
Sho is really very glad that they'd won cars on Tokyo Friend Park a few years ago. That doesn't change the fact that his bandmate is an insane maniac. (The educated part of Sho's brain knows that there's no sense in putting those words together. It's for emphasis.)
"Nino," he chokes out, clutching his seatbelt strap, "Nino, the speed limit, you're going to break the speed limit--" It actually feels like they're going even faster.
Nino's weasel-y eyes are glaring over the steering wheel, intense and evil. "It's fine, Sho-chan. This fucker is aiming for a parking space as soon as we get off the expressway and I won't let him. Did you know that if you go two streets up the meters charge you 150 yen more? Did you know that?"
Sho feels like his cheeks are rippling from G-forces. He can see every little scratch on the bumper of the car in front of them. He's sweating like crazy. "No, no, I didn't," he squeaks out.
"I am not paying that 150 yen," Nino hisses. "OBLITERATE!" he yells in English, suddenly jerking the wheel hard and gunning the engine. "Die! DIE!" The scenery outside the window flashes by.
Sho, his head lolling against the headrest in utter terror, is going to kill whoever told Nino to play Grand Theft Auto.
Word: Gulping
Characters: Aiba+Jun, Aiba's fear?
Rating: It's only safe because Jun's a professional.
There are always rumors going around that Jun gets irritated easily, but that's not the case. Jun is very professional. He's a professional and so that means he will not strangle Aiba with the desiccated remains of his previously whole, very expensive brand name bag.
He will not. He likes his bandmates. He likes Aiba. He - is going to strangle Aiba with his bare hands.
Jun races out the door and around the corner, fingers set like claws.
Aiba peeks around a shower stall, gulping.
Word: Raisin
Characters: Ohno+Nino, their eternal gay, traumatized!Sho
Rating: Safe? Is it ever safe with them?
Sho opens the door to the dressing room, yawning and scratching his head. He's hoping to get a nap but oh my god. He gapes.
Nino is crouched shirtless in one corner of the room, guitar slung across his bare shoulders and mouth wide open. Ohno (dressed only in boxers) stands at the other end of the room, armed with a box of raisins and aiming carefully. Nino opens his mouth wider, tilting his head back.
"Left, left!" Ohno calls helpfully and lobs a raisin. Nino flails around and it hits him on the cheek, falling down to a veritable raisin graveyard. "Right! Lean to the right, Nino!"
Sho buries his face in his hands.
Word: Couching
Characters: Aiba+Ohno
Rating: Sweet like chocolate. ;n;
It's frightening to Ohno how Aiba gets sick so easily.
It's inevitable that they've all had their episodes of unhealthiness over the years. But Aiba's the one sick the most often, the hardest. He works tirelessly to keep up his energetic image. All five of them have characters to play up, some exaggerations on their real selves. Ohno has always thought that Aiba has the hardest image to play.
Aiba works through his coughing fits, hiding his choking off-camera. He works through the fatigue brought on by hay fever on top of too little hours of sleep. He works and smiles the whole time because that's the image he has to give even when he's in pain.
Ohno has never thought himself a good leader, although the others say he is. He can't do much for Aiba's illnesses. He wonders for a long time what he can do. It only takes one of Aiba's real, bright smiles for him to figure it out.
What Ohno can do is give Aiba a warm shoulder to lean on. They sit on their dressing room couch in spare moments, Aiba curled up warmly against Ohno's side and snuffling through his stuffed nose. "This is perfect, Leader," Aiba beams. He's almost dripping on Ohno's shirt.
Ohno smiles and hands him a tissue.
