The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a drabble (real drabble: 100 words exactly) from you. In return, they have to post this in their journal and write a drabble for you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for.
Go ahead, request. I'm not following the strict 100 rule (that's boring) - don't know if I'll get ten, either, but that's not the limit for me. You can request more than one.
I'm willing to write for... a lot. I dunno, hit me. If you want a specific idea written, too, put it into the request and I'll do the best I can.
(No one's forced to do this in return.)

Date: 2006-05-08 05:24 am (UTC)Characters: Edward + Hohenheim + Munich
Ed propped his chin on his palm, gazing out the window. The view did not change from what it had been in the last twenty minutes of his silent vigil, and the pencil that had been propped over his ear gave an alarming tilt.
The gray sky blanketed the even darker buildings. The smog was unescapable. This world was so lifeless compared to his own - unforgiving and cold. His gaze was blank.
"Edward..." A warm hand descended to clasp his shoulder, and the pencil tipped onto the sheets of research covering the table. He inhaled.
"What?"
"I brought you something to drink," Hohenheim said. The man took the boy's relaxed hand gently, and clasped it around the mug. "Be careful. It's hot." He turned away and sat at the desk at the opposite side of the small room.
Ed looked at the dark buildings; the cars below sputtered and poisoned. The boy took up the cup to his mouth and sipped, and the warmth drove away the cold, for a moment. But maybe, he thought, if he wanted to create something truly warm in this world...
He looked at his father's back, steady and straight across the room, and thought, maybe then he would have to learn to forgive.
