Things I don't quite get the hype about:
* Twilight. Sorry? I really can't stand this series. Feel free to ask me why.
* The Dark Knight. I thought it was a good movie, and that Heath Ledger's performance was particularly fantastic, but I didn't think the movie overall was as awe-inspiring as a lot of people are saying it is.
* John McCain and Barack Obama. YEAH SUCK IT BOTH OF YOU. I'm actually pretty interested in the election, but the ad campaigns (lol) and feeble attacks (fail) are getting ridiculous. C'mon, McCain, if you really want to attack Obama, don't wildly insult the Christians in an attempt at wry humour. Fail. And Obama, you! Agree to some debates already! Fail.
* Crushes, especially on straight girls. Damn me.

Obama agreed to 3 debates plus a Veep contest. McCain requested 10 'town hall' debates. Obama requested that at least one debate be 'Lincoln-Douglas' style, with neither moderator nor time limits - free-wheeling.

Oddly enough, both sides turned down the other side's proposal.

Hm, really? I thought the three Obama agreed to were the expected, standard ones? I'd like for them to have some moderated debates in addition to those.

Yeah, it's a pain in the ass, isn't it? Heh. But it's not that bad, college awaits.

Oh geez, it's not even about the vampires* - it's the fact that the books are terribly written and I can't believe people above age 13 can actually like this crap. OKAY I'M DONE.
